Job Description

The Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Development (ICCD) is looking for an experienced International Relations Specialist to join their team at the Karachi Head Office located in Clifton. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of relevant experience in the same capacity. A Bachelor’s degree is required, but a Master’s degree is preferred. The budget for this position is PKR 120k – 150k.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establish contact and set up meetings with key stakeholders in the priority area of ICCD, particularly with UN agencies, OIC Institutions, think tanks, and NGO/foundations.
• Research and propose soft engagement ideas to develop momentum with priority organizations.
• Facilitate the execution of the identified partnership plan with international organizations working for the development of the private sector.
• Prepare progress reports and draft resolutions for ICCD’s representation in OIC/UN intergovernmental platforms.
• Support the Chamber in delivering high-quality briefings, visits, events, and business planning material.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Chamber regional offices to contribute towards the development of the private sector of member countries.
