Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on industry trends, sectors, and companies.
- Take investor pitch meetings, evaluate investments, and track deal flow.
- Assist in managing due diligence on potential investments.
- Deal structuring and investment management.
- Work with portfolio company management teams to guide business growth.
- Plan and execute divestment strategies.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure targets are achieved.
- Contribute to investor engagement and PR/Comms strategy.
- Represent Gobi Partners at industry events and build relationships.
Location
- Primarily based in Pakistan with travel within the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and valuation models.
- Interest in solving complex ESG issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong team working and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
- Objective thinker with good judgement and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with adaptability and integrity.
