Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT/IS Governance Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and ensure the effective implementation of IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of IT governance principles, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in IT governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance Framework Development:

Develop, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives.

Compliance Management:

Monitor compliance with IT governance policies and procedures.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks to the organization.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of IT governance initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with IT leaders, business stakeholders, and external partners to promote a culture of accountability and transparency in IT governance practices.

Qualifications:

3 – 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or related field.

Strong understanding of IT governance principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001).

Experience in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and controls.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM preferred.
