Job Description
A reputable non-profit organization is looking for an IT Officer on an urgent basis for its project in Lahore. The incumbent will perform the below-mentioned duties:
Designation: IT Officer
Reporting to: Head of Admin
Salary: 50k – 60k
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners, and more for different OS environments like Windows, Mac, and Linux (UBUNTU)
- Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults.
- Repairing computer equipment and replacing parts.
- Checking computer equipment for electrical safety.
- Managing inventory of computer equipment and other I.T supplies.
- Creating proper documentation, diagrams, and other detailed instructions to help staff make the best use of new technologies.
- Exploring Windows software to install in Linux OS (UBUNTU) using third-party tools.
- Maintaining and providing support to staff to search archived images using Extensis Database Software.
- Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain storage devices like Raid and My Books.
- Upgrade and maintain the networking system at the Office.
- Troubleshooting all the tech-based systems installed at the Office.
- Provide assistance in the procurement of IT-related equipment to the admin department.
- Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain the Office software.
Requirements:
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, HTML5, and AI to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL, BootStrap
- Sound knowledge of Linux (UBUNTU) and MAC OS X
- Knowledge of IP camera installation and configuration
- Experience on Routers and Switches
- Experience with Microsoft Server OS 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, or any latest version
- Website development and design experience
- Knowledge of digital imaging using Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with online digital media including HD video and digital compression technologies
