Job Description
eServMD Pvt Ltd is a service provider company based in Islamabad, Pakistan, providing services to US-based companies and clients in the field of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Medical Practice Management, Medical Billing, Real Estate, Accounts & Finance.
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented IT Support Executives to join our team. As an IT Support Executive, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients, diagnosing and troubleshooting network and hardware issues, coordinating IT support requests, and ensuring timely resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients on networking and server-related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity, server, and hardware problems.
- Coordinate IT support requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and servers.
- Maintain the internal provider grid to ensure accurate information and available logins.
- Provide IT assistance to staff and customers.
- Train end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
- Resolve logged errors in a timely manner.
- Monitor hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
- Update computer software and upgrade hardware and systems.
- Maintain databases and ensure system security.
- Document processes and perform diagnostic tests.
- Keep track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT support specialist.
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
- Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
- Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional skills desired:
- Experience with cabling.
- Familiarity with Active Directory.
- Knowledge of Group Policies.
- Experience in virtualization technologies (please specify the technology).
- Familiarity with Windows Server (please specify the version).
- Ability to configure switches, routers, and firewalls.
