Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and implementation of Java-based applications using Java 17.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging applications to resolve issues.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, or other Java frameworks like IntelliJ Community.
- Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Proficient in using Postman to pull and push data from applications to Jira, mapping the field using APIs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with third-party integration with Jira cloud or custom applications.
- Knowledge of code conversion.
- Assist in integrating third-party tools and plugins with Jira to enhance project management.
- Develop custom solutions and scripts using Java for seamless integration between Jira and other tools.
- Implement RESTful APIs and webhooks for real-time data synchronization.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and address compatibility or performance problems.
- Proficiency in Java programming language for developing custom integrations.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with authentication mechanisms, such as OAuth, for secure integration.
- Familiarity with Jira plugin development using Atlassian SDK or similar frameworks.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
