Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collect data from multiple sources, including primary, secondary, internal, and external sources to generate relevant data for analysis; also involves analyzing and interpreting collected data using statistical tools and computer software, etc.
- Interpret the raw data and identify any patterns in it to provide clarity to the non-technical staff.
- Responsible for compiling Excel spreadsheets and using Visual Basic for Applications to make data visible before analysis.
- Maintain databases or data systems, as well as identifying new process improvement opportunities.
- Create visualizations, including dashboards, flowcharts, and graphs to relay business concepts through visuals to colleagues and other relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for coding and re-coding data contained within various databases to identify patterns.
- Remove corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems.
- Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems.
- Any other task or project assigned by Reporting Head and Management.
Critical Competencies:
- Detailed knowledge of Data Analysis.
- Must possess advanced computer skills, knowledge of additional databases such as SQL Server and MySQL, PBI.
- Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent working knowledge of the database and system.
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced & challenging environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Communication skills to define tendencies in complex data sets.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or Statistics Mathematical or in a technical field is preferred.
- 1+ years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst.
