Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. The Junior Accountant will work with senior accountants to ensure monthly financial statements are prepared accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with financial statements and reporting
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, FreshBooks etc.) is a plus
