Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
- Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt, and gathering appropriate signatures
- Updating financial records via accounting software
- Calculate payroll taxes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date
- Maintaining accurate financial records, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Entering financial data accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
