Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team at Umbrella Health Care Systems. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly communication with banks to obtain APY rates.
- Assist with accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare invoices, expense reports, and financial documents accurately.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis.
- Aid in financial audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
