Job Description
- Manage clinical trials for medical products and devices.
- Manage and test clinical equipment and medical devices, including field testing.
- Interact with manufacturers to purchase medical devices, products, and surgical instruments.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Biomedical Engineering nationally and globally.
- Install and calibrate biomedical machines, equipment, and software.
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical machines, equipment, and software.
- Maintain and repair biomedical machines and equipment as needed.
- Provide technical support when required.
- Keep up-to-date service histories on all biomedical machines and equipment.
- Train clinicians and other personnel on safe and effective use of biomedical machines and equipment.
- Research new materials, technologies, and engineering aspects related to biological processes and systems.
- Write reports and documents detailing protocols, policies, standards of use, maintenance, and repairs of biomedical equipment, machines, and software.
