Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our team. As a Junior DBA, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of our company’s databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and performance.
In this role, you will support the Senior DBAs in various tasks such as monitoring database systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing database changes. You will also be involved in database backup and recovery processes, as well as optimizing database performance.
To be successful in this position, you should have a solid understanding of database management systems and SQL. You should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as database-related issues may arise from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and maintenance of company databases
- Monitor database systems and troubleshoot issues
- Implement database changes and optimize performance
- Participate in database backup and recovery processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems
