Job Description
A dynamic and growing construction company, HD STAFFING SOLUTIONS, is seeking a qualified Junior Estimation Engineer (Civil) to join our team. As a Junior Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the estimation process for civil engineering projects. You will work closely with the senior estimation team to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing project plans, specifications, and client requirements, as well as conducting site visits to gather relevant data. You will also assist in quantity take-offs, cost calculations, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets. Attention to detail, strong mathematical and analytical skills, and knowledge of engineering principles are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with at least 1-2 years of experience in estimation or project management within the construction industry. Proficiency in estimation software, such as Bluebeam or CostX, is highly desirable.
