Job Description
Essentia Technologies offers customized software and application development solutions to its clients as per their needs and requirements. Our team has successfully designed and developed various software and multimedia products. Along with our licensed software products, we also offer custom software and multimedia application development services. We specialize in recruiting executives, management, and senior contributors in a wide range of industries, primarily focusing on technical search.
This is a full-time on-site Junior QA Engineer role located in Islamabad. As a Junior QA Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for writing and executing test cases, finding defects, and helping to ensure the quality of software development release at Essentia Technologies. The QA Engineer will also work with development staff to identify and resolve defects and shortcomings.
Qualifications:
- Strong familiarity with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test case writing, execution, and reporting
- Experience with web-based software testing
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
