Job Description
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions.
- Manage purchase orders with strong follow-up to meet delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and relevant Govt authorities.
- Close Liaison with the engineering team, operation team, and Finance for tariffs, and tax
- Manage documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Arrange for transportation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods at the required destinations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with international procurement and importation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Provide updates on procurement and importation status, lead times, and potential issues.
- Analyze data to optimize procurement and importation processes.
- Prepare reports on procurement metrics, lead times, and cost savings.
Required Education/Experience:
- MBA/ BSc in Supply Chain or Engineering
- 4-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain
- Aviation experience is a plus
