Job Description
The NJV School Management Board is seeking a dedicated Library Manager to oversee and maintain our school library. The successful candidate will ensure that students have access to a wide range of books and resources to enhance their academic growth while nurturing a passion for reading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and curate the library’s collection and resources.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new students and staff.
- Assist in selecting suitable reading materials.
- Promote reading initiatives and events.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library.
- Monitor book borrowing and returns.
- Instruct students in research skills.
- Collaborate with teachers to support classroom activities.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or a related field. Preferred 1–2 years of experience. Strong organizational and communication skills along with a passion for literacy promotion are essential.
