Job Description
The Library Assistant position is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the library. Responsibilities include assisting patrons with locating materials, shelving books, organizing library resources, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Candidates should have a passion for books and knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Assist patrons in finding and checking out library materials.
- Shelve returned books and maintain the organization of library collections.
