Job Description
A library in search of a skilled and dedicated Library Assistant. This position involves various responsibilities such as organizing and maintaining library materials, assisting patrons in locating resources, managing library databases, and providing basic research support.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. Prior experience working in a library or customer service environment is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and shelve books and other library materials
- Assist library users in locating resources
- Maintain and update library databases and catalogs
- Process new library materials
- Provide basic research assistance to library patrons
