Job Description
- Responsible for start time and sign off duty using attendance systems.
- Ensure correct uniform and PPEs are worn to prevent hazards.
- Inspect laundry items for cleanliness.
- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing linen.
- Distribute clean linen to various hospital departments.
- Keep daily linen records and activity reports.
- Coordinate with nursing management for washing ward curtains.
- Assist in issuing new staff uniforms and maintaining uniform room cleanliness.
- Clean and wash soiled linen trolleys for a hygienic environment.
- Handle infectious linen with appropriate PPEs and follow safety protocols.
- Complete tasks within assigned time frames.
- Report lost items during sorting to the supervisor.
- Perform tasks assigned by Laundry Coordinator/Officer.
