Job Description
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals and background in Linux Administration.
- Proven experience in configuring and managing web applications and database servers (Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, MariaDB, MySQL).
- Experienced in Apache, Tomcat, and Nginx as an administrator for installation, configuration, application deployment, and maintenance.
- Experienced in troubleshooting logs and maintaining apps.
- Good knowledge of Bash scripting, clustering with Pacemaker and Galera, etc., and replication strategies.
- Knowledge of SQL queries and any relational database systems.
- Experience with monitoring tools for statistical analysis such as Nagios and ELK.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise documentation.
- Knowledge of networking, including DNS, TCP/IP, and other networking concepts.
- Perform daily system monitoring, integrity, and availability checks.
- Perform regular security functions, including log review and monitoring for possible intrusions.
- Provide continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and first-level maintenance of application servers and systems.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Maintain good and smooth communication with customers through various channels.
- Prioritize and manage workflow efficiently.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues promptly.
- Respond to customer calls and emails in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and other professionals.
- Excellent communication, customer service, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
