What You’ll Do:
● Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux systems, including Redhat, Debian, and Ubuntu.
● Optimize and maintain MySQL databases on Linux for scalability and data integrity.
● Implement Nagios monitoring to detect real-time anomalies in Linux systems.
● Utilize Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) for in-depth Linux database performance analysis.
● Implement Proxmox Backup Server on Linux for robust data protection and recovery.
● Collaborate on Linux research and development for innovative system enhancements.
● Swiftly address Linux system alerts, outages, and technical challenges with precision.
● Enhance Linux system security through access controls and best practices.
● Create and maintain comprehensive Linux system documentation and procedures.
● Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours Linux support.
What We’re Looking For:
● Experience Required: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux distributions, Windows Server, and Virtualization.
● Proficiency in configuring and managing virtualization platforms like Proxmox and VMware.
● Strong understanding of MySQL database administration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
● Familiarity with configuring and managing Nagios for comprehensive system monitoring.
● Basic knowledge of Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) or equivalent tools.
● Proficiency with Proxmox Backup Server for data protection and recovery.
● Demonstrated research and development skills with a proactive approach to innovation.
● Excellent problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
● Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
