Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Logistics Consultant at Sunhub, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing logistical components within our dynamic solar marketplace. Collaborating closely with suppliers, clients, and intermediary logistic companies, your primary responsibility will involve managing end-to-end supply chain delivery. Your focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries, adherence to government regulations, and maintaining superior customer satisfaction. If you possess strong logistical acumen, adept problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving efficiency in a forward-thinking environment, join us in shaping a sustainable future in the solar industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage freight and shipments to ensure on-time delivery and superior customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with government standards and regulations, particularly concerning customs clearances.
- Monitor inventory levels, production schedules, and logistics routing.
- Analyze live supply chain events, assess risks, and develop contingency plans.
- Provide regular updates to senior managers regarding project schedules and statuses.
- Optimize communication channels with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Evaluate logistics issues, make necessary adjustments, and maintain documentation of progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or minimum 3 years of logistics experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in logistics planning and scheduling.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation and logistics systems with a strong research and investigative aptitude.
- Proficiency in freight and distribution center operations.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities for effective logistical planning and execution.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Logistics tools.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication abilities.
