Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments of goods from origin to destination.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers for timely delivery.
- Track shipments, provide updates, and resolve transportation issues.
- Negotiate rates, contracts with carriers, and maintain shipment records.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations for compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
- 1+ years of freight coordination experience.
- Strong understanding of transportation logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for freight transportation is a plus.
