Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Manager with 2-3 years of experience to oversee the day-to-day operations of our logistics and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient transportation, distribution, and storage of goods while maintaining high customer satisfaction and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Logistics Operations: Coordinate and oversee the efficient and timely movement of goods, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the accuracy and availability of products.
• Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers, transport companies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and negotiate favorable terms.
• Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines without compromising quality.
• Monitor Shipments: Track shipments, ensure on-time deliveries, and resolve any issues or delays with vendors or shipping partners.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all logistical operations.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide logistics staff, ensuring proper training and performance.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in logistics management, supply chain, or related field.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics management software and tools, MS Office (especially Excel).
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with suppliers, team members, and management.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot logistics issues and make quick decisions to ensure timely delivery.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
