Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Machine Learning Consultant (Short-term). The Machine Learning Consultant will be responsible for pattern recognition, computer science, data analytics, data science, deep learning, and applying this knowledge to TransHelp’s initiatives. The Machine Learning Consultant will work closely with the Data Science team, Senior Management, and Product teams with flexibility for remote work to develop innovative research tools in “Climate Change, Poverty and Health Vulnerability”. More specifics will be discussed upon interviews and contract.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of pattern recognition and deep learning algorithms
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, or related fields
- Proficiency in data analytics using python, R, and SQL
- Experience working with big data, including health, climate-related data, and economics/social data sets in Pakistan and cloud computing technologies
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- At least one publication or patent on ML models is a plus
