About the role:
Corporate Communications at Telenor Pakistan is responsible for corporate storytelling around Telenor’s purpose of connecting people to what matters most. This involves effectively engaging with consumers, businesses, and all stakeholders alike on how Telenor seeks to empower the people of Pakistan.
Your Impactful Goals will include:
Communicating our purpose, our vision, our ambition and our story involves engaging with a number of key internal and external stakeholders. It involves creativity and disruption on existing and new media. It entails planning, decision making, risk taking and execution. You will report to our Head of Communications and the role will involve:
• Establish and execute communication strategy in conjunction with business objectives
• Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are impactfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
• Execute change management and employee engagement initiatives
• Upholding the organization’s reputation in the public sphere by proactively managing crisis and issues and mitigating risks
• Creating thought leadership avenues for Telenor Pakistan and its spokespersons
• Creating high impact content and placement opportunities
• Effective stakeholder management
What we are looking for?
Education: Minimum Bachelors Degree, MBA or Mass Communications will be preferred
Work Experience: 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
Functional/Knowledge Areas:
• Highly articulate individual with excellent written communications and presentation skills
• A self-starter who can shape the storytelling with the ability to develop relationships, set a strategy, and execute
• Track record working on communications initiatives involving corporate, policy, and crisis communications
• A connected communicator with a deep network of positive relationships across the media landscape that you’ll use for storytelling in a compelling way
• Highly adaptable and calm under pressure
• A team player who enjoys working with others to get stuff done
