Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support in designing control monitors, tests, and health checklists against policies and standards.
  • Identify material exceptions and share them with process owners, second-line risk owners, and second-line Operational Risk (OR) before recording them into the system.
  • Assess control exceptions, identify systemic and thematic exceptions, and track action plans to prevent repeat exceptions.
  • Identify applicable processes, significant potential failures, assess inherent risk, develop control standards and monitors, and design process improvement plans.
  • Ensure loss records, risks, and issues are created in the risk system.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, validate issues, and audit closures.
  • Maintain regulatory tracker and update thematic risks in the risk system following the defined approval mechanism in the operational risk framework.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Good knowledge of credit and operational risk management and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Good knowledge of banking products.
  • Understanding key elements of an effective risk management framework and related activities.

Behavioral Skills Required:

  • Ability to leverage resources across the organization to complete deliverables.
  • Sound judgment and necessary courage to perform a control role and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Capability of handling multiple projects concurrently.
  • Disciplined and organized at work.
  • Ready to travel.

Education: Graduate/Master’s degree

Experience: 4-5 years of banking experience with at least 03 years in Credit & Risk Management roles, preferably in Corporate/Commercial Credit Risk/Administration.
