Job Description
Habib University is currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of Financial Reporting and Budgeting. As the Manager, you will be responsible for various financial tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time, smooth, and error-free month-end financial closing
- Maintain month-end schedules for Accruals, PIBs, leases, etc.
- Prepare monthly/annual Management Accounts and Statutory Financials
- Perform monthly analytical reviews of GL Accounts and provide reasoning for variations with the standard
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance department
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals are met
- Support the implementation of internal financial controls and compliance measures
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least CMA/ACCA/CA Part-qualified
- Minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in Financial Reporting and Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Proficient in IFRS
- Advanced Excel skills including Financial Modelling, Power Queries, and Pivots
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Knowledge of AP would be an added advantage
