Job Description
Manager Strategy and Transformation
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining, driving, and executing the bank’s strategy.
- Track digital transformation initiatives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Support the Head of Strategy in preparing strategic presentations for the board.
- Research the latest banking trends locally and globally to implement them at MMBL.
- Collaborate with Business, Digital, Technology, HR, and other internal teams on strategic initiatives.
- Prepare qualitative and quantitative dashboards/trackers to meet the needs of management and stakeholders.
- Maintain regular sync with internal stakeholders to track project milestones and targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between strategy and business value.
- Conduct market sizing, segment, customer, and product assessments.
- Prepare research-based data for knowledge sharing and strategic insights.
- Liaise with head office and regional teams for effective project implementation.
- Assist in documenting project plans and status updates.
- Responsible for onboarding strategic partnerships for diversity & inclusion, climate action.
- Ensure timelines and responsibility matrix are in place for partnership deliverables.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting, preferably with an MBA/Post-Graduate qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the microfinance industry.
