Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform research on relevant topics and draft the technical contents of education material/ e-learnings/ guidelines relating to sustainability reporting in Pakistan.

• Ensure guidance, educational material and e-learnings content is well evidenced and aligned with authoritative references.

• Carry out research on a wide range of topics related to the impacts of reporting organizations on the environment, people and the economy.

• Find the most relevant information on specific topics across databases, secondary sources and corporate reports.

• Interact with team members to understand the research needs and adapt the methodology accordingly.

• Carryout pro-active, timely, and effective communication with relevant stakeholders including industry.

• Analyze qualitative feedback from expert and stakeholder consultations.

• Synthesize and present findings for specific audiences.

• Compile and analyze information about sustainability reporting practices across the world.

• Write departmental documents and senior level correspondence.

• Identify and develop new possibilities and take initiatives within the area of responsibilities.

• Develop high-quality written materials, including presentations, briefing documents and program proposals.

Education, Experience & Skills:

• A Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 02 years of PQE, or has a Master’s Degree with at least 04 years of experience in Sustainability Reporting.

• Good knowledge of Sustainability Reporting Standards adopted and implemented in other jurisdictions.

• Grasp of latest trends on sustainability/ESG reporting issues for a variety of businesses and can demonstrate the ability to propose solutions.

The position offers a market-competitive remuneration package and professional work environment. Shortlisted candidates will be required to go through ICAP’s selection process. Please note that the employee retirement age at ICAP is 60 years.
