Job Description
Purpose:
- A key player in Sourcing, driving vision for an agile, competitive, digitalized, and cleanest supply base.
- Drive quality, production goals in supply partners’ facilities, supporting adidas’ goals in efficiency, Social & Environmental Affairs (SEA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production, quality, availability, and manufacturing efficiency independently.
- Escalate critical issues, drive problem-solving discussions.
- Manage relationships with factory management for operational excellence.
- Implement adidas best practices at responsible factories.
- Influence factory production management, drive change for objectives.
Key Relationships:
- Global Sourcing
- Sourcing suppliers
- Global Operations
- Other GOPS/Sourcing functional teams
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Strong understanding of production, continuous improvement processes.
- Quality-first mindset, strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills.
- Influencing, people, presentation, communication skills.
- Fluent in English, strong Microsoft Office skills.
Requisite Education And Experience:
- University degree in engineering or related areas.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
