Job Description
Eram Talent is excited to announce an opening for a Material Advisor in the Oil & Energy sector. In this role, you will oversee the procurement and management of materials essential to our projects, ensuring all specifications are met and timelines adhered to. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of our operations.
Your responsibilities include monitoring material orders, managing relationships with suppliers, collaborating with teams, and maintaining seamless operations. If you’re looking to advance your career and play a key role in a dynamic team, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement processes from requisition to delivery
- Provide technical support and assist in material procurement planning
- Identify, review, and monitor essential materials
- Maintain inventory control and collaborate with project managers
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors
- Evaluate material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Generate reports on material status and procurement efficiency
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in material management, preferably in Oil & Energy sector
- Experience in oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and ERP software (SAP)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
