Job Description
If you are a new graduate in mechanical engineering interested in building serious robotics technology, join our team at Dune AI. This is an on-site role located in Islamabad, Pakistan. We are a new company focused on building a robotics product with state-of-the-art algorithms, software, mechanical design, and electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
- Create and modify detailed CAD models and technical drawings.
- Participate in prototyping and hands-on assembly of mechanical systems.
- Conduct testing and analysis to validate designs and ensure quality standards.
- Work on taking the prototype towards manufacturing (injection molding).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical projects (academic or personal).
- Demonstrated involvement in student competition teams (e.g., SAE, Formula Student, Robotics) is highly preferred.
- Ability to submit a portfolio showcasing past projects and designs.
- Coding skills in Python are a plus.
