Job Description:
As a Mobile Games QA Tester at Mindbotix, you will play a critical role in guaranteeing the excellence and playability of our mobile games. Your attention to detail, critical thinking, and passion for gaming will help us deliver top-notch products to our players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing and Evaluation: Playtest and evaluate mobile games to identify and document defects, glitches, and gameplay issues.
- Bug Reporting: Accurately report identified issues in our bug tracking system, including detailed steps to reproduce and clear descriptions.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to confirm that reported issues have been resolved and ensure that new updates do not introduce new problems.
- Compatibility Testing: Conduct tests on various mobile devices (iOS and Android) to ensure games work seamlessly across a range of platforms.
- Adherence to Quality Standards: Ensure that games adhere to our quality standards, including graphics, sound, performance, and gameplay.
- Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to the development team, contributing to game improvements and enhancements.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive test cases and test plans for various game scenarios.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve issues and optimize gameplay.
Qualifications:
- A passion for gaming and a strong understanding of mobile games.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify issues.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- Familiarity with various mobile devices and operating systems (iOS and Android).
- Previous experience in QA testing, especially in the gaming industry, is a plus.
