Job Description
Location: Karachi
Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain management, business administration, or related fields.
Experience: Proven track record in managing supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in supply chain management software like Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision.
- Strong contract preparation, review, invoicing, and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Identify and engage local suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate favorable terms.
- Review contracts for feasibility.
- Establish lasting relationships with suppliers.
- Manage procurement budget and ensure cost savings.
- Oversee IT systems for tracking shipments and inventory.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports.
- Coordinate timely payments and contract finalization with legal team.
- Technical understanding of mining-related machinery and materials.
