Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Specialist (Networks) to join our Service Delivery team at Aga Khan University. As a Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our network infrastructure. Your main tasks will include analyzing network performance, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to optimize network efficiency.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network enhancements, troubleshoot network problems, and recommend upgrades to meet future business requirements. Working closely with the IT team, you will also contribute to the development and implementation of network security measures to protect our data and systems.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies. You must be proficient in network design, troubleshooting, and have a working knowledge of industry best practices. Additionally, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are crucial.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable. Previous experience in network engineering or a similar role will be advantageous.
