Job Description
Kickstart is Pakistan’s largest coworking space operator with a mission of creating ease of doing business for SMEs, startups, and freelancers. We have 11 operational coworking spaces in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, with 2400+ members using our spaces daily.
We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation.
Required background:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- At least 2 years of work experience
- Commitment to a minimum engagement of 2-3 years with the company
- Must have knowledge of Mikrotik Configurations & Unifi APs
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting network issues at all locations
- Coordinating with the vendor for the Network hardware issue
- Network Cabling & Wiring
- Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP
- Procuring network equipment and managing vendors involved with network installation
- Configuring wireless Network Printers, Access Control Devices & other Network Devices
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
- Any other tasks related to the said field
