Job Description
Possess extensive expertise across diverse operating systems, encompassing Windows Server, Linux, and adept familiarity with network infrastructure and firewall technologies. Proficient in Active Directory, DNS Server, and Email Services such as G-Suite.
Demonstrate foundational understanding of PXE, VoIP, high availability, load balancing, and Quality of Service (QoS), along with VMWare vSphere server and client systems.
Deliver comprehensive technical support covering desktop hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Install, configure, and sustain desktop operating systems and applications tailored to user requirements.
Diagnose and rectify desktop-related issues, ranging from hardware malfunctions to software glitches and connectivity concerns.
Oversee the management and upkeep of routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
Vigilantly monitor network performance and security, swiftly identifying and addressing emerging issues.
Conduct routine network audits and assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities and uphold adherence to security standards.
Offer user training and guidance on desktop and network technologies, ensuring adherence to best practices and security protocols.
Collaborate seamlessly with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve cross-functional desktop and network challenges.
Uphold strict adherence to IT policies, procedures, and security standards to safeguard compliance and data integrity.
Engage proactively with end users to discern their desktop and network requirements, providing informed guidance and support.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
3 to 4 years of experience in desktop support roles within the BPO or software development industry.
