Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1 to 2 years experience in a NOC or similar environment.
- Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) preferred.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work in a shift-based environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network systems, servers, and applications for high availability and performance.
- Perform initial triage of incidents and troubleshoot network issues.
- Respond to alerts and escalations, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
- Document incidents, actions, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the maintenance and upgrade of network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
