Job Description
The Quality Officer, in conjunction with the Head of QIPS, is responsible for the risk mitigation activities and generating recommendations for system improvement within all quality management programs/activities, databases, indicators, etc.
- Implementation of Continuous Improvement Initiatives including;
- New Quality Management System
- Patient Safety Walk rounds Program of clinical and non-clinical department; this involves, among other things, analyzing and reporting on clinical practices, processes, error reporting, and the environment from the perspective of patient safety.
- Sentinel Events and Root Cause analysis as per Sentinel Events Guidelines.
- Training for Quality Improvement Initiatives and FOCUS PDCA (System Improvement Methodology) Projects – with a view to the next stages; FMEA and 6 Sigma.
- Responsible for developing, improving, maintaining, and implementing Feedback and Complaint Process Mechanism at all INH Campuses.
- Perform patient satisfaction survey and share the report with management to draw objectives for service improvement.
- Responsible for managing Clinical Incident Reporting System into the database, reporting of trends, analyzing of reports, and identifying any Sentinel Event.
- Assist in preparation of Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Manuals of Clinical and Non-clinical departments.
- Perform retrospective or concurrent reviews/audits of clinical and non-clinical departments on assigned areas utilizing national and international standards.
- Responsible for reviewing results of committee meetings, mini focus studies, QM Team activities, etc. from all assigned facilities and participating in preparation of quarterly reports for the senior manager of the Quality Management Department.
