Job Description
An Online Marketplace Manager is responsible for managing and growing the online marketplace presence of a company. This role involves optimizing product listings, creating and implementing marketing strategies, maintaining vendor relationships, and analyzing sales data to drive growth.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong communication and analytical skills are also essential for this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Optimize product listings to increase visibility and conversion
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the online marketplace
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and managing inventory levels
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategies to stay ahead in the market
