Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Operations Executive – Imports located in Lahore. The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day import operations, including coordinating with customers, overseeing import processes, and ensuring compliance with import regulations. The role will also involve maintaining import records, managing import documentation, and communicating with international trade partners. This is an on-site role that requires presence at the Lahore office.

Responsibilities:

· Manage the complete lifecycle of import shipments, from pricing and booking to coordination, billing, and delivery.

· Liaise closely with clients, carriers, and international agents to ensure smooth operations and effective coordination.

·  Conduct rate negotiations and organize deliveries to align with customer requirements.

·  Maintain comprehensive digital records of all shipments.

·  Execute thorough job costing and ensure timely recording of billing and purchase bills.

·  Remain available after standard hours for critical operations.

·  Monitor shipments in transit and proactively address any arising issues or delays.

· Foster strong relationships with clients and suppliers, offering exceptional customer service and promptly addressing inquiries or concerns.

·  Stay updated on pertinent import regulations, trade compliance, and industry trends to ensure adherence to legal requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree or higher

·      Freight Forwarding/Import/Trade experience preferred

·      2 – 3 years of import operations experience.

·      Strong communication and organizational skills.

·      Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

·      Experience using ERP and CRM systems will be preferred
