Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Karachi Division for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that the company’s operations run smoothly. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s operational processes and procedures, managing budgets, and reporting progress to senior management.
Reporting Structure:
– Reports to: Country Manager
– Direct Reports: Zonal Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
– Relevant tertiary qualification (with a focus on business and financial modules)
Minimum Experience:
– 6-7 years’ experience in an FMCG/Retail/Sales/Marketing environment at a regional management level with a proven track record of managing people, operations, and clients. Must be well connected in the FMCG trade at Key Account and regional level of the retailers and wholesalers.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Effective management of operations
- Stakeholder relationship management

- Good business and financial acumen
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement corrective action where necessary
- Check exception reports, obtain information for discrepancies
- Monitor call cycle activities and revise call cycles if required
- Assess impact of call cycles against budgets
- Monitor and review point of purchase standards
- Communicate and agree on point of purchase standards
- Ensure operations team adheres to parameters
- Obtain operational information from the Client
- Communicate information to operations team
- Measure point of purchase implementation
- Identify, develop and execute opportunities and ad hoc initiatives and drives to increase operational excellence
- Ensure distribution methods are effective and efficient and identify problems and ensure resolution timeously
- Manage assets to ensure optimization
