Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Build strong working relationships with our sourcing factories, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with our supply chain team.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive system to track all product development activities.
- Monitor progress and timelines, ensuring alignment with launch programs and delivery dates.
- Collaborate directly with Accounts department to understand the order pipeline on a per SKU basis, globally.
- Proactively communicate order requirements to global partners, emphasizing forecast accuracy.
- Coordinate bulk orders with factories and manage smaller LCL orders for individual retailers and distributors.
- Track order fulfillment and address any delays, keeping all relevant parties informed.
- Work closely with factories to understand their production capacity.
- Provide guidance on manufacturing possibilities and coordinate capacity scaling as needed.
- Have a strong grasp of logistics and shipping operations.
- Collaborate to establish a “little and often” supply chain strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally in a similar industry.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in using supply chain software and tools.
- Knowledge of international shipping and logistics.
- Highly organized with problem-solving skills and strong teamwork.
- Experience with handmade product manufacturing is a plus.
