Position Title: Permitting Coordinator

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in project management or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project completion.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with local and national building codes and regulations related to solar installations.
• Knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) technologies and components.
• Ability to specify and select appropriate solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and other components based on project requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong Communication Skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the permitting process.
• Research and stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations related to permitting requirements.
• Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Ensure all permit applications are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of permit applications, approvals, and related correspondence.
• Collaborate with project teams to address permitting challenges and provide guidance to team members regarding permitting requirements.
