Job Description
A North American based Company is looking for a Planning Engineer with at least 2-3 years’ experience in the construction industry. As a Planning Engineer at AESOM, you will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the project are on track. If you are a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for planning and organizing, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Project Planning function to ensure appropriate planning of all projects.
- Work closely with PMs for all projects to ensure effective planning and execution of jobs is carried out.
- Participate in Project Handover Meeting to plan and implement Project Planning function from the onset of projects.
- Ensure that all Project Schedules are updated on a regular basis.
- Carry out regular monitoring of Project progress for all projects and maintain close coordination with Project Managers to ensure timely execution.
- Provide Project Progress Reporting to PMs as per client’s requirements at an agreed frequency.
- Develop standard modules to be used in schedules to ensure a defined set of activities and no activity is missed out during project planning.
- Ensure proper reporting templates as per requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil / Electrical) from a reputed university with 2-3 years of experience in planning / project coordination (Preferably SITE Experience)
- Effective Written/Verbal Communication Skills and Customer Focus.
- Hands-on Experience in Planning tools (MS Project, Primavera P6) & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
