Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Produce clear, concise and compelling narratives through a combination of expert prose, data, graphics and engaging story-telling.
- Write innovative project proposals under tight deadlines.
- Provide evidence-backed policy insights on complex socio-economic problems.
- Analyze large quantities of documents quickly to produce valuable information.
- Liaise with high-level stakeholders to advance research, policy, and business interests.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of relevant experience in government, development sector or consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Policy, Anthropology, Public Health or related field.
- Experience in writing proposals for international non-governmental organizations.
- Experience in managing or working in an INGO-funded project.
Critical Skills:
- Superb organizational skills and capacity to juggle multiple projects.
- Plan completion of project deliverables with pace, optimism, and urgency.
- Plan effectively to ensure timely delivery of project tasks.
- Excellent command of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
