Job Description
Are you ready to advance your career? PayMedics is seeking a dedicated Prior Authorization Specialist. In this role, you will:
- Obtain and track prior authorizations from insurance companies.
- Review medical records for compliance with insurance requirements.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurers to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records in the billing system.
- Address denied or delayed authorizations effectively.
Qualifications include 1-2 years in medical billing, knowledge of insurance plans, and strong communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
