Job Description
Qualification:
Bachelors in Engineering/Supply Chain (Technical Procurement)
Experience:
2-3 years of experience
Knowledge:
- Technical Knowledge of Plant & Machinery
- Business acumen
- Procurement Policy and SOPs
- Understanding of the system Material Management Module
- Understanding of SAP (running, implementation, developments)
- Understanding the procurement of Direct and Indirect materials (Raw, Packaging, Technical, capex etc. – for SAP development and power user role)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support technical departments in procurement and maintenance of machinery and equipment for new and existing projects.
- Responsible for procurement of machinery required in production (mixing, cutting etc.) and then ensuring its maintenance. (Entire Production line and process area development, construction of the area and all equipment).
- Manage end-to-end execution of projects, including vendor management and procurement of construction and technical materials.
- Communicate business needs to vendors, obtain feedback, and negotiate for project finalization.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and SOPs, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Keep records of procurement transactions in the system and ensure compliance with PO conversion SOP.
- Configure and manage new projects and processes in SAP, including training end-users.
- Coordinate with auditors, SAP team, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Facilitate internal and external audits from the Procurement department.
