Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Manager Procurement (Raw Materials) to oversee the end-to-end procurement of essential raw materials like PTA, MEG, DEG, Silica, and IPA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement Management: Ensure optimal sourcing of critical raw materials for production needs.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor raw material levels to prevent shortages and maintain supply.
- Supplier Relations: Build strong relationships, negotiate terms, and drive supplier performance.
- Process Optimization: Develop best practices to streamline procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: BE in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in SCM from a reputable university.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in raw material procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively.
