Job Description
Overview:
Partnership with shift floor labor supervisor in ensuring presence of labor on lines, availability of material on lines. Provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Availability of material on production lines as per production plan
- Effective utilization of labor hours to maximize product yields and minimize waste and breakage
- Ensure conformance to daily production target and Compliance to DLS & MPS score
- Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels of operating supplies
- Looking after the operation of Commercial grade starch unit operations and Waste Room Operations
Engagement:
- Acts as a credible advocate for PepsiCo Behaviors & new Ways of Working
- Leads action planning for OHS for the frontline associates mainly Level A (90+ population)
- Driving engagement at the frontline by leading the action item agreed in the engagement calendar of the site
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering/Food Technologist. Preferably 2-3 years in a similar capacity/operating organization with ER/IR exposure.
